The weather was cold and gloomy the morning of Erin + Jonathan’s wedding day. And the forecast wasn’t calling for any promising improvements from Mother Nature. So doing what we do, we jived accordingly, waiting for a narrow window of no rain. Thankfully, luck was on our side for about 20 minutes – just enough time to grab some beautiful, fall portraits of Erin and her ladies, and Jon with his dapper gentlemen. We utilized every nook and cranny inside the Upper Montclair Country Club, as well as the sprawling backdrop of its fields and vibrant trees. To this day, one of our favorite wedding images from 2016 is of Erin walking down the outdoor path with her lovely ladies, with the most beautiful tree warming up the scene with its glowing red leaves.
We know we say this often, but we tend to think we have the absolute best wedding couples around. Erin and Jon went with the flow, trusted us completely, and knew that the most important piece of their wedding day, was that they would walk away husband and wife. We feel enormously lucky to have spent the day with such a warm, and caring couple, family and wedding venue. The Upper Montclair Country Club staff was nothing short of accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. Their ceremony was beautifully touching, and their reception was the biggest party around. Everyone had a blast (including us), and we’re thrilled to share some of our favorites from their big day!
