From the first moment we spoke with Alex in the beginning of her wedding planning, we just knew that her and Andrew would be a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process!! They both are extremely kind and easy-going people, which made working with them before and during the wedding day a total breeze. Their big day started out with a bit of rain, but Alex was determined to stay optimistic and keep an upbeat attitude (which can be hard as a bride, since it’s a day that you’ve been anticipating and planning for so long!). And even though it was a bit unseasonably chilly for the first weekend in November, the rain did eventually stop and it turned out to be a beautiful day for a wonderful couple! We started with some getting ready photos of Alex at POMME where the reception was being held later in the day, and then we headed over to the gorgeous St. David’s Episcopal Church in Wayne, PA. One thing we really love about the Radnor area is that it’s rich history and St. David’s is no exception, with the original foundation of the church dating back to 1715!!

After the beautiful ceremony, we headed back to the venue for some intimate Bride + Groom portraits. Luckily for us, the grounds offer so much lush greenery and vast shooting opportunities – as if that wasn’t enough, we even had a perfectly timed appearance from the swan pair that live on the property!! Of course shooting Alex and Andrew together was completely effortless as they were just enjoying being together for the first time as husband and wife – these are moments we truly love capturing because it’s so intimate and honest. Needless to say, the setting couldn’t have been any more romantic and we’re thrilled that the weather cooperated for these two! Then of course it was on to the fun part of the evening – partying the night away with all of their closest friends and family, led by their very talented band Midnight Hour. We are so honored to have been a part of their special day and want to wish the happy couple all the best on their new journey as Husband + Wife!!

We also want to thank the staff from POMME and Peachtree & Ward for being so kind and accommodating – we look forward to working there again soon!
