Ashley and Eric’s wedding at The Lucy in Philadelphia was three years in the making. That is, they signed a contract with us for their wedding in April of 2020 in 2019. Like many couples, Covid-19 had other plans and their date changed two more times before they were able to settle on November 14, 2021. When thinking about your wedding details, you envision how everything will look at that time of year. You spend countless hours planning your color scheme and design theme around the season. So you can imagine how difficult it would be to plan and re-plan your wedding through three different seasons. However, Ashley and Eric managed to pull of a perfectly fall themed wedding as seamless as if it were their first go at it! They were also extremely grateful and gracious throughout the planning process. With each re-schedule they acknowledged how difficult it must be for us to coordinate and coordinate with our staff, etc. You could say it was a true bonding experience! So by the time their big day rolled around, it was like seeing two old friends FINALLY get to tie the knot. And we couldn’t have been happier for them!

The weather didn’t want to cooperate at first, with howling winds and gray skies. However, by the time we made it over to The Lucy, we managed to hit all of their favorite photo spots. From Rittenhouse Square to City Hall and then finally on Broad Street, we took full advantage of the clear skies! We had the honor of capturing their big day on film so be sure to check out their highlight below.
