Meet Audrey, Julian and their adorable Beagle named “Bagel!” Anyone who knows us knows that The Femina Ladies love their pups, and if you let us, we’ll fall in love with yours as well! So when we first spoke with Audrey to schedule their West Village engagement session and she mentioned that they had a dog, of course the little furry family member needed to make an appearance. And it’s a great thing she did! Despite the abundance of affection Audrey and Julian have with each other, Bagel added another dimension to their shoot. The morning was filled with lots of laughter (Bagel has a thing of howling at roller-bladers), belly rubs, water breaks and of course, her favorite snack: peas. (The phrase “You want a PEEEAAA?” came in handy and got Bagels attention when we needed it.) We started the morning strolling the quaint streets of the West Village (Julian + Audrey’s old neighborhood) and after Bagel had enough of the lime light, we wisked her “mommy and daddy” a few blocks over to High Line Park to get a few more intimate shots of the future bride + groom.
