We recently introduced our amazing couple Beth and Tim to you all when we posted their Martha’s Vineyard engagement session. We had the pleasure of spending the weekend with them in Martha’s Vineyard for their “destination wedding”. Well, this was sort of a destination wedding because close friends and family came from all over but Beth and Tim are no strangers to Martha’s Vineyard. Tim is actually a builder on the island and works there all throughout the year while Beth is a teacher in CT, so they share time together in the quaint little town of Edgartown.
The wedding itself was an elegant and intimate affair with close friends and family. The day started off with some getting ready photos at Beth and Tim’s house, followed by the ceremony which took place on the beach right in front of the Edgartown Lighthouse (amazing!). Then everyone was invited back for a beautiful backyard cocktail party and tented reception on the property owned by their close mutual friend, Shawn, who welcomed everyone with great hospitality (Tim and Shawn also happened to build his house together). A picture perfect Martha’s Vineyard Wedding!
We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to work with along with all of their wonderful family and friends. And who couldn’t love the charm and allure of such a beautiful little town as Edgartown. We definitely plan on making another visit up sometime in the near future!
