Chelsey + Alex had the most fabulous Eagle Oaks Country Club Wedding last month! We’re still in awe of the many intricate details of their day and are so excited to be sharing a snippet with some of our favorite photographs from their wedding. We started with some getting ready photographs in their homes, which is always a privilege for us. We love when we have the opportunity to shoot the getting ready portion in the bride and groom’s home because every detail incorporated into the photographs are a reminder of the love they share together on a daily basis. And we LOVED Chelsey and Alex’s beautiful home, so needless to say there was a lot of inspiration everywhere. Before we got Chelsey dressed, all of the girls eagerly piled onto her bed while she popped a bottle of bubbly and then it felt like the excitement of the day was really starting to kick in!
This group was an absolute joy to be around and photograph, they were always positive and encouraging for Chelsey + Alex, even when the weather refused to cooperate. Shortly after we arrived at the venue from the Saint Barbara’s Orthodox church, we had just a quick portrait session with the wedding party before the skies opened up and it started down-pouring (just minutes after we made it inside, the sky turned black and it was raining buckets!). But the girls rallied around their bride and fixed her wind-blown hair and makeup, allowing us to finish up the family photos before heading back outside once it cleared up, for some more portraits with Chelsey + Alex and their whole crew. And we’re SO glad we did because we were able to take advantage of some of that gorgeous golden-hour sun (our favorite time of day to shoot). Once we were able to finish up the portrait sessions, then everyone was really able to let loose and let the party begin!! Of course we couldn’t leave without first stealing the couple away for one last portrait session — some night shots on the 18th hole overlooking the venue illuminated in the background. It was the perfect end to a perfect day!! We’re so happy for Chelsey + Alex and wish them only the best as they continue their journey on as husband and wife!
