You may remember Deena + Anthony from their Philly Engagement Session earlier this year. It was a clear blue sky day in March but it was chilly! Well they lucked out again for their wedding with blue skies and puffy white clouds, except this time it was the PERFECT fall day at just the right temperature. There’s nothing we love more than when our couples have great weather on their wedding day!
The day started out with Deena getting ready at her family’s home in Valhalla, New York followed by the ceremony at Briarcliff Congregational Church in Briarcliff Manor, New York. The setting couldn’t have been any more perfect with the old stone church set against the blue sky. The ceremony was intimate and personal, with a beautiful rendition of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” that was performed during the ceremony (we couldn’t help but get a little choked up as we caught them teary-eyed during the performance). Afterwards we headed over to their venue, Scarsdale Golf Club, which has one of the most picturesque settings we’ve ever seen at a Golf Club. Absolutely stunning! We were able tour the grounds with Anthony + Deena taking advantage of the gorgeous light that day.
One of our favorite moments with the two of them however, was shooting in the vintage bowling alley, where they showed off their bowling and dancing skills. These two are seriously spunky and just all-around fun to be around!! We’re so honored that they chose us to capture their special day and we can’t wait to share the rest of the photos! Congratulations you two!!
