Lindsay + Fred came to us as a referral from Lindsay’s brother Rick, whose wedding we shot back in 2014. We absolutely love being able to work with our clients’ families more than once! Lindsay and Fred opted for a classic wedding venue in Philadelphia called The Ballroom at the Ben, which is hosted by Finley Catering Philadelphia. We’re no strangers to the Finley franchise, as we’ve worked at some of their other venues such as Union Trust and are looking forward to working at their brand new venue The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve as well! So it’s no surprise to us that their event went seamlessly. When you have a stellar team of vendors working together, the result is perfection! Some of the other vendors we had the pleasure of working with were, florals from Jennifer Designs, Hair & Makeup by Gina Marie Salon, entertainment by Funktion11 and Lindsay’s gorgeous gown was designed by Lian Carlo.
Since Lindsay had attended the Nazareth Academy High School, it was only fitting that they exchanged vows in the Nazareth Academy Chapel. We love being able to incorporate locations that are special to our couples and as luck would have it, the weather was absolutely perfect to explore the grounds after the ceremony for their Bridal Party photos and private portrait session. Then we made our way back to Philadelphia to kick off the party at the Ballroom at the Ben. One of our favorite images of the day was from a little session we did with the two of them before the reception got started (see last image below).
