There are few wedding venues that are breathtaking no matter what the weather brings. And while our bride Marijela was crossing her fingers and toes for beautiful sunshine on her wedding day to Steven, mother nature had other plans for their summer wedding. Luckily, we know how goooorgeous the Stone Mill is for a New York Botanical Gardens wedding, and more than welcomed the challenge!
Marijela and Steven got ready together on their wedding day at the New York Botanical Gardens, and saw each other for the first time outside near the property’s stream. Marijela dazzled her beau Steven in her Vera Wang gown, and couldn’t help but twirl in it as any girl would on her wedding day. Lace umbrella in tow, we walked the grounds and captured them along some of the quiet little paths nearby. The drizzle made for some very dreamy portraits, and the lush greenery also aided in some protection from the elements. Marijela and Steven took everything in and were nothing but excited the entire day to become husband and wife. We loved everything about photographing this beautiful couple, and loved witnessing them say “i do” with their closest friends and family!
