From the moment we first spoke with Melissa and Evan last summer, we couldn’t wait to photograph their Lake House Inn wedding! They wanted their event to be elegant but not too stuffy and they just really wanted to throw a great party to celebrate with all of their family and friends. They expressed that they loved the outdoors, so we did their engagement session in Wissahickon Park and then their ceremony was held lakeside at The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, PA. With all of the lush greenery and lovely fall colors, we couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect location for these two on a beautiful fall day. One of the things we love most about photographing a Lake House Inn wedding are the endless photographic opportunities. The property itself is gorgeous and the interior rooms include a large, bright bridal suite as well as a groom’s lounge for the guys to hang out for getting ready photographs. Then of course there is the stunning white-draped ballroom with grey stoned flooring. It creates such an elegant and romantic feel when the lighting is just right, allowing for some magnificent reception images. We just love everything about this wonderful venue.
