Fall is finally here and we’re in full swing with Engagement and Wedding Season!! Melissa and Mike found us through a past client and even though they are getting married in North Jersey next year, they really wanted to do a fall engagement session in the place where they first met. That just happens to be the beautifully quaint campus of Muhlenberg College, right outside of Philadelphia. Little did we know this small campus would offer an abundance of great places to shoot! It seems that everywhere you turn, there are gorgeous trees and impeccably clean pathways. It also worked out to be a happy surprise that the students were on Fall break so we pretty much had the entire campus to ourselves!!
Since Mike used to be a kicker for the Muhlenberg football team, it was only fitting that we started the session right on the field where they reminisced about the good ‘ole college days (ok maybe it was only a few years ago for them but it’s still fun to reminisce, ha). They also pointed out certain areas of the college that held special meaning for them and really wanted to capture the essence of the school, like the signature “red doors” all around campus. Those doors added such an awesome pop of color set against the deep blue skies! How cool is that?! We also headed over to the Art building, where Melissa spent most of her time in the dance studio practicing for hours on end. It’s truly an honor to capture couples in their element and to help them remember these special places that helped shape them as individuals and together as a couple. We can definitely relate to the feeling of nostalgia, being diehard UD alum ourselves! We hope you enjoy this little sneak peek of some of our favorite images from their session. It was so hard to choose since they were absolutely perfect together!!
