A few months ago, Rachel contacted us to do a maternity session in New York City. Originally from Montreal, her and husband Nick referred to their wedding photographers, Jesse and Catherine from Bachmann Photography, to point them in the right direction for a NYC maternity photographer. And lucky for us, Jesse and Catherine happen to be one of our talented photographer friends and sent them our way – but not without telling us first just how great Rachel and Nick were! This obviously got us very excited, and after just a few email correspondences with Rachel to discuss ideas and locations, we were pumped to do their session in NYC’s Highline Park! Highline Park is an old, retired elevated freight rail line now converted to an awesome above-the-street park on the West Side, and provided everything they were looking for: an edgy, urban location, with a few hints of soft greenery to compliment this special time in their lives. This location has a ton of character, texture, as well as carefully placed plants and gardens and this mommy and daddy-to-be rocked it all – all morning long! We are beyond excited for this lovely couple and cannot wait to meet their little baby girl!
