Bernadette and Brendan’s wedding at the Museum of the American Revolution was filled with so much joy and laughter! Bernadette and Brendan’s wedding journey with us started in August of 2019 with their engagement session, and then their wedding scheduled for the following August. Of course like many couples over the last few years, the pandemic put a damper on their plans. So they postponed their wedding until July of 2021, but it didn’t stop them from moving on with life’s plans and much to everyone’s surprise, these two had a bit of a secret to share on their wedding day. I’m sure you can guess where this is going but we’ll reveal it a bit later…

We started the day with some getting ready photographs at Hotel Monaco in Old City and then Bernadette and Brendan had their first look in the 2nd Bank of the United States park right across the street. One of the things we love about old city and the surrounding area is that there are SO many wonderful photo opportunities for the wedding day! Since it ended up being perfect weather, the wedding party was able to come join us for photos before we headed over to the Museum of the American Revolution. From there, the wonderful staff at Brulee Catering took over and orchestrated a seamless ceremony and reception.

Bernadette’s childhood friend officiated the wedding in a heartwarming and lovely ceremony that had everyone in tears. Then during the reception, Bernadette and Brendan shocked everyone with announcement. They announced that they were going to have a baby, and of course the entire room erupted in cheers and more tears! It was truly a moment we will never forget and we’re so thankful to have been the ones to capture it all.
