When we first met with Emona and David and spoke with them about their Cairnwood Estate Wedding, we knew instantly that it was going to be an elegant and sophisticated affair! One of the things we enjoy about the historic Cairnwood mansion is that every wedding can be completely unique because there are various ways to set it up inside or outside. We love that Emona and David opted to have their ceremony at the gorgeous Bryn Athyn Cathedral and then a tented reception at the Estate to follow.
We started the day with some getting ready photographs in the Bridal Suite at the mansion, where Emona had not one but two beautiful dresses ready for the occasion (a girl after our own hearts!). And we absolutely loved the elegant lace cover up that Emona wore for the ceremony but then swapped out for a sparkly necklace at the start of the reception, adding just another variation to her chic wedding day look. Every detail was well thought out and perfectly executed!! The weather turned out to be gorgeous for their big day as well, so we were able to photograph Emona and David in one of our favorite spots in front of the church, overlooking the vast expanse of Huntingdon Valley. You would think you’re up in the mountains with that breathtaking view and of course photographing the two of them together was effortless, so it just added to the charm and romance of the location. It was so hard choosing just a handful of favorites to share but here is a little sneak peek of Emona and David’s memorable wedding day. We wish the happy couple a lifetime of wonderful memories and a beautiful life together!
