Alexandra + Sebastian’s elopement was a long time coming and as NYC Elopement Photographers it was our job to make that lifelong dream come to life. Traveling all the way from Australia with their immediate families, they had the ultimate celebration in NYC for their wedding weekend. We began the day photographing at The Park Lane Hotel on the southern edge of Central Park with a mini “Bridal Boudoir” session for Alexandra, which would later be gifted as a surprise Valentine’s gift for her husband-to-be, Sebastian. Shortly after, her sister and mom were on hand to get her all zipped up and ready for their wedding ceremony. Unfortunately due to inclement weather, their outdoor ceremony needed to be moved indoors, but luckily the rain stopped just in time for their Bride & Groom portrait session! We photographed in many of the iconic NYC Elopement locations, but most notably we visited Central Park, the Gapstow Bridge, and the New York Public Library. Luckily the misty weather left Central Park empty, and many of the otherwise touristy areas were totally uncluttered! We had a blast working with Alexandra + Sebastian – as well as their families – and hope to reconnect someday soon when they come back to the Big Apple!
