You may remember our lovely couple Andrea + Marc from their Engagement Session this past fall at Tyler State Park. Well their wedding took place not too far in Doylestown, Pennsylvania – starting at the charming Doylestown Inn for the getting ready portion. As they both got ready just doors away from each other, we waited for the big reveal to happen at the beautiful and historical grounds of the James A. Michener museum – where everything would be taking place later in the day.
There is an interesting history behind the museum, which also played a big part in the theme of their day! The museum was once the location and grounds for the Bucks County Jail built in 1884, so playing off this unique history, Andrea wanted to incorporate black & white stripes in the decor and invitation design. We worked with her to create Save the Dates and an Invitation Suite that would bring her vision to life and we loved how it all worked so well together! You can see the full design post here.
They had absolutely perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony, which was setup in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful art sculptures. Followed by their reception which took place just feet away in a glass enclosed ballroom (nestled between the original stone wall and the museum itself, this unique location made for some amazing photos!). We loved working with Andrea and Marc from the very beginning and are so honored to have been a part of their special day. We wish them many years of love + happiness and congratulations on becoming Mr. + Mrs!!
