From the very start this couple, Anna and Ben, have been extremely laid back and easy going. The time spent talking with them before the wedding proved that the day would go smoothly and effortlessly, however they totally blew us away with their calm and collected demeanor on the day of the wedding! From the time we started shooting it was obvious that everything about the day revolved around this wonderful relationship and the love they have for each other. While all the small details were well thought out, the main effort and planning went into making sure that the ceremony and celebration were the most important. And we love that.
It really felt as if we were a part of the celebration and not just there to document the day, which for us, is a great connection to have with a couple while photographing them on such an important day in their lives. The emotional first look and ceremony was held at the beautiful Bryn Athyn Cathedral in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania. Anna grew up in the area and having been a member of The New Church all her life, she had a very special connection to the location. Needless to say, we were thrilled to be able to use the grounds and unique facility as the setting for their wedding photos!
