Gabriela and Nick had excitedly reached out to us about their wedding at the Ellis Preserve Ballroom in early 2020. By the end of February they had their date secured with us for their September wedding that fall. And then just a few weeks later, we all know what happened as the world went into quarantine. In those first few weeks and months none of us really knew what to expect. There was a bit of panic and chaos in the events industry as venues and vendors scrambled to figure things out. And our couples were left heartbroken when dates came and and went and events continued to get cancelled.

Since Gabi’s family was coming from Brazil, this presented even more challenges but they stayed committed to their plan of having a big lavish affair at the Ellis Preserve Ballroom in Newtown Square. Of course this meant postponing the event even further out than they had hoped to July of 2021. However in the end it worked out because they were able to have the wedding of their dreams with all their friends and family in attendance (including Gabi’s mom and closest friends from Brazil). Since Nick is Greek, they decided to follow the greek tradition of having their ceremony at St.Lukes Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall PA. Everything about wedding day was just perfect, from the weather to the incredibly fun wedding party and awesome vendors!
