There’s nothing more quintessentially “New York City” than planning a Central Park wedding. And The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park is among our personal favorites! Nestled in the middle of Central Park in NYC (accessible via the East 72nd street entrance of the park), The Loeb Boathouse is the only venue in the city situated on the lake, creating a beautiful backdrop of the immediate surrounding areas. Looking for gorgeous pictures with iconic Manhattan buildings in the background? Check! Opting for more of a “lush” landscape vibe? Check! Our favorite thing about this venue in particular is that it allows for both, offering quite a diverse range of photographic possibilities! Feeling adventurous? How about taking a canoe ride on the lake – a 150 year old tradition! 

For your ceremony, you can choose to get married within the park (permit required!), in a nearby church, or onsite at The Loeb Boathouse. Options are endless, and no matter your selection, we’re right on board with you ready to capture your big day! We’ll help you plan your wedding timeline accordingly no matter what your wedding vision calls for, building in adequate time for travel throughout the city, within the park, whether it be on foot or via a vintage cab.
