You may remember our couple Sandra and Andrew from their fun Philly Engagement Session last Spring! Even though these two live in DC, they wanted to go back to Andrew’s roots where he grew up in the Philly suburbs to host their wedding. It was important for them to keep the Urban vibe they wanted for their wedding, which is why they chose the ultra modern and chic venue, Front and Palmer. Followers of Femina know that as a Philadelphia Wedding Photographer, it’s one of our favorite places to work in the city – not only are their staff from Feast Your Eyes Catering wonderful to work with, but the raw space can be transformed into something completely different every time we work there!! We’ve seen some amazing things done to that space and Andrew and Sandra’s wedding was no exception!
We started the day with some getting ready photographs at the Loews Hotel, which also happens to be where they stayed when Andrew proposed to Sandra! We love that the hotel has a special meaning for them and were thrilled to be able to capture their First Look there as well. Once we were able to get the reveal done (and the nerves were out of the way!), we headed over to City Hall with the bridal party for some fun urban city shots and then over to Washington Square Park for some Bride and Groom portraits. We also lucked out with some beautiful weather and SUN for their big day!!
Both the ceremony and the reception were held at Front & Palmer, which allowed us to take advantage of the outside of the venue beforehand for some fun photos with everyone under the F&P sign. We especially love when we get the opportunity to steal the bride and groom away for some night shots under the “El” subway!! Robertson’s Flowers delivered the beautiful floral arrangements and reception decor, while the lighting from Synergetic Sounds really brought the raw space to life!! All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a team to work with for such an amazing couple. It has truly been an honor working with Sandra and Andrew from the very beginning and want to wish the happy couple all the happiness in the world as they start their new life together!
