It’s hard not to smile and thank our lucky stars when looking back at this Loeb Boathouse wedding in Central Park. It was the weekend of October 27th and the whole Northeast coast was hit with a big Nor’easter storm. The forecast was calling for torrential downpours and high gusts of wind. So naturally, we were surprised to hear a cool, calm and collected (and sweet as can be) bride on the line when discussing her wedding day timeline and how logistical things may need to change. Especially with a location as exposed as the Loeb Boathouse, right smack in the middle of Central Park! Regardless Alyssa was completely trustworthy of us and our expertise.

It would be an understatement to say that Alyssa + Ben were a dream couple to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. We started working with them from their engagement session, to their invitation suite and then finally on the wedding day. They came into the big day full of excitement, despite the nasty weather that loomed ahead. Which is exactly why we believe they were blessed with a small window of clear skies for their Central Park wedding at the Loeb Boathouse. They were sweet and genuine and made everyone feel the love they shared on their special day. Their day couldn’t have been any more perfect even though the weather didn’t cooperate. We absolutely loved every little detail of their wedding day, from their chic stationery set (ahem, that we designed!) to the vintage cab they booked for their couples portrait session. You could say their lovely personalities and big smiles were just the icing on the cake! Wishing this beautiful couple many years of happiness and “luck” as they embark on their lives together.
